At Vybent, we are committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all users, attendees, organizers, staff, and partners who engage with our platform and events (collectively, the “Community”).
This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for behavior and the consequences for actions that violate these standards. By using our Service or attending any event facilitated through Vybent, you agree to abide by this Code.
1. Our Commitment
We pledge to:
- Provide a welcoming and harassment-free experience for everyone.
- Respect diverse perspectives, identities, and backgrounds.
- Enforce this Code consistently and fairly.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to reports of misconduct.
2. Expected Behavior
All members of the Community are expected to:
- Communicate respectfully and constructively.
- Be inclusive and mindful of language that may exclude or offend others.
- Respect personal boundaries and consent.
- Follow event rules and instructions from staff or organizers.
- Report concerns or violations through appropriate channels.
3. Unacceptable Behavior
The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:
- Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, age, or other protected characteristics.
- Threatening, abusive, or violent language or actions.
- Unwanted physical contact or sexual attention.
- Disruptive behavior that interferes with events or platform functionality.
- Sharing false information, spam, or malicious content.
- Impersonating others or misrepresenting your identity.
- Violating local laws or the terms of service of Vybent.
4. Scope
This Code applies to:
- All interactions on the Vybent platform (including profiles, messages, reviews, and comments).
- Any in-person or virtual event created, promoted, or managed through Vybent.
- Communications related to Vybent services (email, social media, support tickets).
It covers behavior before, during, and after events, as well as online activity associated with our ecosystem.
5. Reporting Violations
If you witness or experience behavior that violates this Code, please report it immediately:
- Use the “Report” button on user profiles, event pages, or messages.
- Email us directly at conduct@vybent.com.
- At in-person events, notify event staff or security personnel.
All reports will be reviewed confidentially and taken seriously. Retaliation against anyone who reports misconduct is itself a violation of this Code.
6. Enforcement & Consequences
Vybent reserves the right to take appropriate action in response to violations, which may include:
- Issuing warnings or requiring apologies.
- Removing offensive content.
- Temporarily or permanently suspending accounts.
- Revoking event access or tickets.
- Reporting serious incidents to law enforcement when necessary.
Decisions will be made at our sole discretion and may be escalated based on severity, frequency, or impact.
7. Amendments
We may update this Code of Conduct from time to time to reflect evolving community standards or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date will be revised accordingly.
Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Code.
